North Carolina Man Pleads Guilty To Murdering 4-Year- Old For Being Gay

The controversial issue of accepting homosexuality, took a dreadful turn when it cost 4-year-old, Jadon Higganbothan his life, last year. The boy was allegedly killed by Peter Moses Jr. for being gay, and now the accused killer has entered a guilty plea for taking the lives of the child, and his mother, Antoinetta McKoy's. Moses, a reported cult leader and member of the Black Hebrews religious group, shot the boy in the head, and wrapped his body in plastic. He also shot McKoy, 28, three times, and covered her body in plastics bags. Both mother and son were reported missing, and were found buried in a shallow grave in Moses' mother's back yard. Six other people have been charged in the crime, but have yet to enter pleas. If convicted Moses will spend the rest of his life behind bars. He was allowed life in prison versus the death penalty in accordance with his plea agreement. Although the story is indeed vicious, the at least he didn't resort to cannibalism, which has become a trend as of late.

White Student Returns Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship

A white student, attending Martin Luther King Jr. High School has returned his $1,000 scholarship, originally intended for black students. When Jeffrey Warren, a senior at Riverside, Calif. school was announced as this year's recipient of the money, students erupted in laughter. Unlike Justin Combs—who has also received criticism regarding a scholarship— the boy opted to give the money back to the Martin Luther King Senior Citizens Club, rather than deal with any potential backlash. “They were kind of surprised,” Jeffrey said of winning the award. “They announced it was for an African-American.” Although the response to getting the award was said to be “mixed,” the club's chairwoman, Etta Brown, still accepted the funds. Given the irony, the club has vowed to change the wording of next year's scholarship which originally stated that black students were “encouraged to apply.” Once he was presented with the award, during the school's senior awards night, club members were surprised to find out that he was white. “Jeffrey and I wanted them to be happy,” said his father, Rod, who also happens to be a language arts teacher at King. “The ladies were trying to do something really nice.” Jeffrey is just the latest white student to find himself in an awkward situation involving MLK. As previously reported, a white student in Colorado came under fire for showing up to school in black face, to portray the civil rights leader.

Kris Humphries can’t seem to get catch a break in the love department. The Brooklyn Nets player has recently contacted FBI agents, claiming that his Kim K. lookalike ex, Myla Sinanaj, tried to extort him for a large amount of money. According to TMZ, Sinanaj threatened to release damaging information about Humphries to the media. Sources close to Sinanaj say that she has emails, texts and other documents chronicling their relationship that could hurt Kris if they became public. Sources from Humphries’ camp say that Myla has threatened to “ruin” him with the potentially damaging info. Humphries’ lawyers had been attempting to get Sinanaj to sign a “non-disclosure agreement,” but when that didn’t work, Humphries decided to take matters into his own hands and get the Feds involved. No word yet on whether the alleged extortion was in person, over the phone, via email or text. However, TMZ reports that anything submitted electronically would fall under FBI jurisdiction. Kind of makes you wonder what she’s got on him that would make him look even worse than he did on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”

After 14 years in the game, Diddy has closed the doors of his Atlanta restaurant, Justin’s. Diddy opened the Atlanta location of Justin’s in 1998, just one year after he opened the flagship restaurant in New York. His New York location was closed back in 2007. A representative for Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group confirmed that Diddy was getting out of the restaurant business to “pursue other business ventures in music, television, fashion, fragrance and spirits.” Bet anything that that Ciroc money is easier to make, restaurants are hard work. Seems like the timing is right for a new chapter though. Diddy named his restaurant after his first son, Justin Combs, who was a toddler at the time. Justin is now 18 years old, and will be starting a new chapter himself this fall…as a college freshman at UCLA.

Yo Gotti Sued Over "28 Bars" Beat

Yo Gotti is at the center of a copyright infringement lawsuit over his "28 Bars" track, reports, AllHipHop. According to the site, the "Real Ni**as" rapper was slapped with the suit, Wednesday (June 6) filed by Eric Dion Flemming, in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, Nashville Division. Flemming asserts that he submitted the beat to Gotti, for an artist signed to the rapper's Inevitable Entertainment label. Gotti kept the beat for himself, and allegedly never denied using the track without permission. The song, released in 2010 was sold on various sites including iTunes, Rhapsody and Amazon. Gotti's manager, Brandon Contrell, and director of the song's music video, Jordan Tower, have also been named in the suit. Flemming is seeking a jury-trial.
