Morgan State Student Accused Of Murdering Victim And Eating His Organs

The year of the zombie continues to trudge forward as a black student at Morgan State University has been charged with killing and eating his victim's body parts. Alexander Kinyua, 21, was slapped with first-degree murder in the death of Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie, after dismembering the body and eating pieces of the victim's heart and brain. Kinyua, who shared a home with Agyei-Kodie, admitted to eating his internal organs, but was not arrested until three weeks after the victim was reported missing. According to a spokeswoman for the Harford County Sherrif's Department, police did not have enough evidence to confirm foul play. On Tuesday (May 29), Kinyua's father informed authorities that human body parts were found in his basement. Kinyua denied that the parts were human, once questioned by his father and brother. Police later obtained a search warrant where they uncovered a human head, and hands in the house. The accused killer has a history of bizarre behavior. He was previously charged with first-degree assault and reckless endangerment for randomly attacking a Morgan State Student in the doorway of their apartment complex. No doubt, this news will shed an unfavorable light on the institution, which was recognized by President Obama in 2009, in honor of National HBCU Week, but sadly this is just the latest report of cannibalism in less than a week. A Florida man—apparently high on bath salts— was recently shot and killed by police this while eating another man's face.

Condoleezza Rice Will Endorse Mitt Romney In Presidential Election

Condoleezza Rice has chosen who she will endorse in 2012 election, and it's not President Obama. The former secretary of state will announce her support of Republican presidential hopeful, Mitt Romney later today. CBS reporter Sara Boxer tweeted the news Wednesday (May 30). “CBS confirms Condoleezza Rice will endorse @mittromney tonight at fundraiser in CA,” she wrote. Support from Rice may be the endorsement that the 65-year-old needs to help him grab the black Republican vote. While they have been less vocal than Democrats, at least one Republican student is doing his part to make sure that Romney gets black votes. Jason Cruger, a student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, launched his “African Americans for Mitt Romney,” Facebook page in January in an attempt to garner black votes. With his re-election campaign heading into a pivotal point, Obama is nothing short of a fundraising machine. Throughout his political career, the POTUS has brought in over $1 billion in campaign funds, and is expected to help turn the 2012 election into the most expensive race in history.

Exclusive: Iggy Azalea Says She's “Not Surprised” T.I. Wants To Retire From Music

Earlier this month, T.I. told Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club that he wanted to retire from the music game, and while he's not the first rapper to express unhappiness with his day job, his proclamation was somewhat unexpected. The Grand Hustle label head's plate is full of projects, including working with his artist, Iggy Azalea, taping his VH1 reality show, a few acting gigs, and his forthcoming “Trouble Man” album. With all those items on his agenda, Azalea can understand his need to step away from music.“I'm not surprised that he said that, I didn't know he did but I think when you've done 500 laps of the same course it can get boring,” she tells Hip-Hop Wired. “I can understand [T.I.] wanting to do that. Just like sometimes actors turn into producers or directors. You want to explore other elements of your craft that is new to you. I know one of the things that I love about life is being a student of my craft and I think he's really mastered rapping and being an artist, so I think it's good that he wants to explore other things that he's newer at, and be able to have a learning curve, and learn different stuff. Maybe it'll make him re-inspired to want to keep making music. While her boss is busy building his resume, the 21-year-old has not yet decided on whether or not she will also pursue a career in acting. “I'm definitely interesting in acting, but I don't know if I would or not,” she adds. “I've never tried so I could be a terrible actor, and if that's the case then I don't think I would [laughs]. I gotta try first, maybe I'll read a script and let you know how that goes! I'm definitely interested in it.” Even if she doesn't add acting to her list of priorities, Azalea has more than enough items on her agenda to keep her busy, she is set to drop her Glory EP next month, and her The New Classic debut later this year.
