After quite the confusing weekend, the NBA confirmed its trade of former Los Angeles Laker Lamar Odom to the Dallas Mavericks. The player was initially traded to the New Orleans Hornets, but NBA commissioner David Stern stepped in and axed that deal.

Odom was quite upset about the trade – having found out same time as the general public. Sheesh. However, the move now looks like it will become reality TV gold for the pair, who currently star in the popular E! series “Khloe & Lamar.”

In a special episode, cameras will follow the couple as they venture to the land of big hair. We’re sure the southern spin-off is sure to resonate with viewers.

“I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family! God is great!” Khloe tweeted. “Blessed beyond words! I love ALL of my dolls!” But later said: “I am sure I will love it but I am a tad thrown off…I know for a fact blessings are everywhere!!! Everything happens for a reason. God is great.”

Ryan Seacrest is loving this…

Toddler Shot In Oakland Dies

A one-year-old toddler who was shot in the head during a rap video died from his injury yesterday (December 9).

The child, Hiram Lawrence, was among the seven people shot on November 28, while people were gathered in front of a liquor store in West Oakland.

The boy was struck in the head, as his father, who was also shot in the arm, held him.

Young Hiram, who had been on life support for 11 days, was clinically brain dead since the shooting, which took place in front of State Market Liquors.

Police believe the shooting occurred as people gathered to shoot a rap video for Kafani, whose promotional van was riddled with bullets.

Kafani is the 1-year-old’s cousin and is not a suspect in the shooting.

Surveillance cameras caught the shooting on videotape and police are still seeking suspects.

Babygrande Records Sued For $200,000 Over Wiz Khalifa’s “Deal or No Deal” Album

A company that provided marketing services for Wiz Khalifa’s album Deal or No Deal has sued Babygrande Records for unpaid royalties.

Malbon Brothers Farms filed a lawsuit against Babygrande Records on December 7, in the Supreme Court of the State of New York.

The lawsuit claims that Babygrande was required to pay Malbon Brothers Farms 20% of all the net profits resulting from the commercial release of album Wiz’ Deal or No Deal.

In exchange for the 20%, Malbon Brothers Farms provided marketing services to promote the album.

According to the lawsuit, the Deal or No Deal album has sold well over 100,000 copies since its original release date.

Malbon Brothers Farms claims that Babygrande paid just $8701.73, claiming it represented the 20% that was due to Malbon Brothers Farms.

When Malbon Brothers Farms contacted Babygrande Records’ CEO Chuck Wilson, Wilson claimed that he “cross-collateralized” expenses related to the album, by adding Babygrande’s marketing, manufacturing distribution and selling fees.

The lawsuit accuses Babygrande Records of reducing Malbon Brothers Farms 20% for the Deal or No Deal album by adding the unnecessary expenses.

Malbon Brothers Farms claims the breach of contract has caused them at least $200,000 in damages, in addition to the 20% still due from any net profits derived from the Deal or No Deal album.

Jermaine Dupri Sued Over Repossessed Lamborghini

Rap mogul Jermaine Dupri is at the center of a lawsuit over his 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago.

Premier Financial Services recently filed a lawsuit against the So So Def mogul in Georgia Superior Court, claiming he has failed to make payments on the car.

According to the lawsuit, Jermaine Dupri made a $70,000 down payment on the car and financed the remainder of the luxury vehicle at a price of $330,000.

He was to make 58 payments at a cost of $4,323, but around 2009, the mogul defaulted on the loan.

The lawsuit claims that Jermaine Dupri still owes almost $80,000 on the Lamborghini.

According to reports, Jermaine Dupri’s Lamborghini has already been repossessed and sold for $115,000, but the company is suing the rapper/producer for $79,095 damages.
