Report: T.O. hospitalized last Thursday

Free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens was hospitalized last week in Los Angeles for a possible prescription pill overdose, TMZ reported Monday, citing law enforcement sources.

According to the report, Owens was rushed to the hospital by ambulance Thursday night after a 911 call reported a possible overdose at an apartment where the football player was staying.

Police also were called to the scene, but Owens was already en route to the hospital when law enforcement arrived, TMZ reported.

Owens, 37, has since been released.

The six-time Pro Bowler has not responded to calls from TMZ.

While a member of the Dallas Cowboys in 2006, Owens was hospitalized after overdosing on the pain killer hydrocodone. The NFL star later denied reports that he was battling depression and that the incident had been an attempted suicide.

Owens, who is still recovering from surgery on a torn anterior cruciate ligament, recently said it was only "a matter of time" before he returns to the football field

Jimmy Henchman’s Brother Sentenced To 12 Years In Prison Over Cocaine Operation

The brother of incarcerated Hip-Hop mogul James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond was sentenced to 12 years in prison yesterday (October 6th), for his role in a massive cocaine distribution operation that raked in more than $10,000,000 per year.

Jimmy Henchman’s older brother Kesnar Rosemond, 50, was sentenced to lengthy prison sentence for cocaine distribution, wire fraud and identity theft related charges, according to the New York Post.

Kesnar Rosemond had already pleaded guilty to the charges in hopes of a reduced sentenced, but he was given the stiff sentence for the severity of the charges against him.

Prosecutors claim that Kesnar Rosemond used an unnamed New York auto dealership to steal loan applications to use the information to open fake accounts, using FedEx and other shipping companies, to send millions of dollars in drugs and cocaine across the country.

The tactic opened numerous innocent people up for investigation and interrogation and added to the complexity of the brother’s scheme, according to prosecutors.

The feds claim Kesnar’s younger brother James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond operated his management company CZAR Entertainment as a front for a Continuous Criminal Enterprise (CCE).

Jimmy Henchman is accused of using his business to send hundreds of kilos of cocaine in cases used for music equipment to various recording studios, and then using Fedex to send the proceeds to mailbox drops in vacuum sealed bags on the West coast.

Last week, prosecutors charged Jimmy Henchman with possession of machine guns and silencers, after the weapons were turned up during a raid of one of his properties, as part of an investigation that began in 2008.

Rosemond, who pleaded not guilty to all charges, is facing a life sentence if he is convicted on the drug and gun charges.

Actor Hugh Jackman Reveals Passion For Hip-Hop; “Real Steel” #1 At Box Office

Actor Hugh Jackman may be known for his roles in movies like “X-Men,” “Van Helsing” and the latest blockbuster “Real Steel,” but what most don’t know is that he’s a Hip-Hop fanatic.

During an interview with, Hugh Jackman revealed that he was a fan of Hip-Hop music, in particular, Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre and others.

The actor attended an Eminem concert with “Real Steel” director Shawn Levy and said the evening was “electrifying.”

“I think Eminem is extraordinary, and one of the greatest live acts I’ve ever seen,” Hugh Jackman told NextMovie. “I’m a real fan of live music, but if I go to a concert and I feel that I’m just getting their CD, basically, played for me, it bores me. I would prefer to just listen to it.”

According to Jackman, he attended a concert that featured performances by Eminem, Jay-Z, 50 Cent and Dr. Dre, where he observed the rappers from a backstage area.

“It was one of the most electrifying nights I’ve ever been a part of,” Huge Jackman said. “I was actually ushered to this area and I went behind the stage and just watching Dr. Dre get ready to go onstage, it was kind of like watching a prizefighter getting ready for a big fight. There’s just so much that they put in to every song. And Eminem, he’s just, oh my God, he’s just the consummate performer. A professional. And everything comes from an honest place. Comes from his heart. That’s what I like about him.”

More than a few fans feel the same about Hugh Jackman.

Exclusive: Freeway Ricky Ross Facing Jail Time For Alleged Probation Violations

Former drug kingpin-turned community activist Freeway Ricky Ross is facing another jail sentence, for allegedly violating the terms of his probation.

Rick Ross, who was released from prison in September of 2009, was originally given a life sentence for attempting to buy 100 kilos of cocaine from a federal agent in 1996.

His sentence was reduced when one his sources turned out to be connected to the CIA and the Iran-Contral scandal.

Rick Ross served almost a total of 30 years in prison, for dominating the crack cocaine trade in south-central Los Angeles, where he oversaw a cocaine empire that raked in as much as $1,000,000 per day in the mid-1980s.

Since Freeway Rick’s release, he has launched

He has been on speaking tours around the country, held blood drives and mentored youths, while preaching a anti-drug and anti-gang message.

Freeway Rick Ross’ work has also earned him numerous accolades, from a number of universities and institutions.

But his work has also put his future in jeopardy, as he is being accused of associating with convicted felons.

In an exclusive interview with Rick Ross revealed that he is facing a judge tomorrow (October 11th), where he could be sent back to prison for as long as six months.

Freeway Rick Ross told that he is being accused of associating with felons he served the majority of his prison time with, due to phone calls he made to inmates he knows inside of various federal prisons.

The phone calls put Freeway Rick in direct violation of the terms of his probation, which bars him from associating or cavorting with any other convicted felon.

To make matters worse, Freeway Rick believes his probation officer has it out for him, due to his popularity based off his infamous past.

“They know I’ve been talking to the kids and all that and that don’t mean nothing,” Freeway Rick Ross told “They claim I was associated with felons because I took a picture with one guy did time with, and the other guy, I didn’t even know him. I guess they think I shouldn’t be able to do things I do, since I got famous from selling drugs.”

While it may seem odd that Freeway Rick decided to talk to inmates inside of prison, to him, the telephone calls were very innocent.

“These were people that I served the majority of my time with, people who helped me,” Rick Ross explained. “I’m talking about guys who taught me how to read and write, guys who helped me with my case and eventually my freedom.”

Since his freedom, Rick Ross is been engaged in various activities in Los Angeles, including mentoring youths and participating in a football camps for at risk children aged 8 to 18 years of age.

He has also opened a number of businesses, including his social network and a diesel truck business “Ross Express,” which owns two diesel trucks and is bringing in as much as $4000 per week, according to Rick Ross.

Rick Ross has also been working with and MJZ Productions and Amare Stoudemire to produce his life story in a movie that will be directed by Nick Cassavetes (“Blow” “Alpha Dog” “The Notebook”).

According to Rick Ross, a number of high-profile actors have looked at the script for his life story, including Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Don Cheadle and others.

Freeway Rick Ross believes that all of these things will help him tomorrow when he faces a familiar face, the same judge that gave him a life sentence, in 1996.

“We have a long history. It’s going to be like an old reunion,” Freeway Rick Ross told “She knows me well and I believe she will be impressed that I haven’t committed any crimes. She knows I don’t lie to her and I think she respects me. The last time I saw her, she knocked four years off my sentence. I think she did that because of how far I came. She hasn’t seen me in five or six years, so when she see me now, I’ve grown even more.”
